Latest SharePoint Administration Toolkit Released

Thursday, August 27th, 2009

In case you didn’t catch it anywhere else, catch it here.  The latest, and likely the last (for the 2007 product line) version of the SharePoint Administration Toolkit was released today on the SharePoint Team Blog.

Check out the post here.

Looks like lots of fun stuff for administrators.  I’m particularly looking forward to playing with the Permissions Reporting Tool.  :)

[From the SharePoint Team Blog]

If you’re new to SharePoint, or working with people who are new to SharePoint and have a hard time explaining what it is, you might find the SharePoint in Plain English video to be helpful.

This video takes a friendly approach to show how SharePoint can help you work together with others in more efficient ways. For example, SharePoint can help you plan and work on a project online instead of sending files back and forth in e-mail.
